Marny Clulow

Welcome to my page, thanks for stopping by. After graduating in 2008 with a degree in Costume Production, I have worked in west end theatres for the last 10 years. My passion for fabrics, design, construction and sewing began at a young age, my grandmother taught me to sew during school holidays - although I never had the patience for her love of embroidery!

I have only very recently rediscovered my love of sewing as a hobby. Sewing on a daily basis for my job means that it's the last thing i want to do when i get home. I first began quilting baby blankets as keepsakes for my friends babies and then Instagram opened up a whole new world of quilting to me. I am currently teaching my self English Paper Piecing & fussy cutting, as I can do it so easily in front of the TV (and don't have to drag my machine out of the cupboard!)

Moving forward, I would love to explore contemporary quilting and looking at how traditional blocks and techniques can be use to get quilting bang up date.
